I installed it 6 months ago and its been running flawlessly. The controller is all plastic so it feels a little cheap but it gets the job done. Im running two 1000w hps lights, one 600w hps, and a 315w cmh on this controller. All you need is a 30amp braker and some 10/2 romex and your good to go.For anyone wondering.. Yes, this is just a high quality contactor in a box connected to universal 120v/240v (suicide) outlets. Would highly recommend using one of the ETL certified variants if taking this purchase seriously as most honest electricians choose to follow local codes.It would be nice to see competitive pricing on the non-certified/hobbyist variants. On the other hand, It works great! Does exactly what it says and does it well! Saved me a couple hours of time vs building something similar myself. Having suicide outlets saved more time as it eliminates the need to rewire everything else.I offer 3 solid stars!! Expectations met!These are amazing, it saved me a lot bulbs in the long run by transferring the power better upon initial startup as well as sequences your ballasts just slightly so you avoid the massive amp surge as well. They are easy to install but have an electrician do it if your not comfortable but ive wired 3 of these myself with no electrician and never had a single issue. Make sure to have a 30amp breaker with 10/2 wire and your good to go. These timers take 240v and 110v ballast cords too which is a huge plus if you have only one voltage.I used this for my grow room. Dont get confused, you have to wire this in for 240V they day not to do it yourself. Youtube videos work wonders. Swapped out a breaker for a 30Amp and bam im a professional. I highly recommend products from this company.I have been using for a couple months and it has worked fine.The only problem I had was when I received it, it did not have the right size screws in the box to attach the metal mount to the controller for mounting to the wall.I had to purchase some screws so I could mount it.Anyways it's working great so far.however I am only using it for one 600w right now because it's too hot outside to run anymore.Great product , quality relays but in USA.I love this product! Easy to install and works great with all my other same brand electronics.A good dependable product. For a small simple veg set up this can't be beat.Parfait !
