Wanted an easy to use pleasing enhancement to a fireplace I was no longer going to go through the hassel of getting wood for. For $94 it was about same as models costing 15-50 dollars more, and works fine for what it is. It is basically better than having nothing, somewhat pleasing and when i am returning to a vacant house w turned down heat the heater is ok to turn on and help for a while- but would not want to leave it on as electric heat is expensive. I will someday want to go through the job/higher expense of getting a gas burner installed- this does nicely between now and then.Looks nice, seems sturdy and puts out decent heat! No remote with this one though.This little guy is awesome heats my home slightly and perfectly. So much better than buying wood and cleaning the fireplace. Healthier too with no smoke. Turned my cold area by the fireplace into the warmest area and it's lit instantly with a push of a button on the remote. The setup was to plug it in, too easy. The flame and embers look realistic especially behind the fire screen. It doesn't get burning hot which is nice because I sometimes have toddlers over and I never worry about them being burned. Well worth the purchase. Looks great in the fireplace and the heat feels great in the house. would definitely buy again.I like the visual appeal of the faux fireplace, it doesn’t take up a whole Lot of room and it seems to be fairly efficient. It supplements the furnace in my apartment . I also like the three sided view of the flames.Update: Two years of daily use in the winter and still going strong!——-For the price you couldn’t ask for much more! It is quite small so be sure to double check dimensions. It blows heat only from the bottom front of the unit. The lights are adjustable and pretty. Our favorite thing about this one is the windows on the sides. Overall very happy with the product!Great heater, easy assembly and super cozy in the winter. It heated my office perfectlyCouldest winter in Texas in 126 years. This heater is awesome. Keeps a large space very warmLooks great but I did have to get a replacement for the remote. It took a few weeks but it’s working and I love the way the fireplace looks.
