Awesome desk that was purchased 2 years ago as part of my home office set up. The beam supporting the desk can easily be used for cord management, and the 4 height settings are more than enough to support varying postures. My remote recently broke and I reached out to the seller who sent me a new one FOC. Can’t get any better than this.I received the desk in 2020 and immediately put all of my things in storage and moved out of state near my family while the pandemic was unfolding. Unfortunately, I am just now opening this desk and trying to put it together. It took me, as a solo person, quite a while to put it together, but even so, I would have been happy if I could have finished it. But, there are no pre-drilled holes as indicated for the controller. (Update: I just screwed the controller in without the pre-drilled holes and it worked okay). Also, the desk finish is bubbled on all of the sides and has already started to pull away from the edge on one side. This is really poor quality. It was in original packaging until about an hour ago, so there shouldn't be anything at all wrong with this desk. I checked for ability to exchange, but it is too long since I purchased it so I'm out of luck. Just wanted to let you all know to be aware of these things that were wrong with mine.I got this desk after my boyfriend bought the exact same one and was satisfied with his. Disappointingly, my experience has been a little different.ISSUES-The desk top is slightly warped, and the screws that attach it to the legs are just barely long enough to grab the threads in the desk top, so screwing this on took an act of god. I ended up turning the table rightside up, laying on the table top, and having to push in the screwdriver with all my might to get the screw in. It took over an hour to get the desk screwed into the legs.-The desk top has 3-4 scratches that are 6-12" in length. They are shallow and can mostly only be seen from certain angles; one of them has a reddish tint to it. It's not a critical problem, but it's definitely annoying to have scratches on a $400 table.-Two small screws from one of the footings have sheared off. I'm not sure how, but when I went to move the desk, there were these two little screw heads on the ground where the desk had originally been. I have discovered that these screws hold the desk leg in so that it doesn't telescope out when you pick up the rest of the desk. Now that I am missing those screws, moving the desk is a huge pain because that one leg will not pick up, it just extends and drags unless I pick it up too.Overall, I'd say I'm mostly disappointed with the price point for this desk. This feels like a low-end standing desk and you can get those for $100 cheaper, no need to go with this one.I like it. The programmable options work great. I wish the cables were better arranged though.I accidentally bought two of these - one is 48” the other is 55”. Both of them have a bracket bent as shown. Luckily there are three other screws holding the table top bracket so I don’t have to return it. Surprisingly both desk have the problem at the same spot. A unique problem for the 48” one though is lacking of threads at the mounting location of the “controll box”, where power cord,motor and the up/down controller meet. I have to use two smaller screws and nuts to hold it in place. Also the controls box has low noise all the time, for both desks. I guess it’s an OK desk but wish they could do betterExcellent and attractive desk with many wood pattern options to match other furniture. Good value for how sturdy and spacious it is, and for functionality as a standing desk. There are several height settings you can preset. Intuitive to use and simple to set up. Great option for those of us working from home.I recommend getting the accessories for the power outlets on the desk, allowing you to charge things as USB. Great for phones.Customer service is very responsive. I asked for a replacement wire and they were able to accommodate.I would like to say that the assembly instructions for this desk were truly outstanding. All of the hardware bags were separated neatly into their own labeled bags, and the instructions were written in plain English. The attention to detail on the experience of putting this desk together was noticed, and I appreciate it!This desk is by far the best desk I have ever had. Don't underestimate how awesome it is to have 4 preset heights. I use 2 of them and my husband uses the other two. Each of us use one preset for sitting, and the other for standing.I work early in the morning, and my desk shares a wall with my son's bed. When I adjust height, it is loud enough to be heard but from his room, it is little more than a low hum, not too different than what you typically hear when a heater kicks on in your home. I won't pretend that the desk is quiet when changing levels, but it's certainly reasonable.My husband is 6' even, and the desk goes just tall enough for him to comfortably stand and work while on a standing mat.It has had a profound impact on my ability to stay focused on work. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
