It works nice, got many compliments from other riders for the sound it puts out. It is not a deep bass cage rumbling unit by any means, but it does have nice loud clear sound.Only reason I gave it 4 stars is the install... it is a little pain in the rear to hang the unit, after that everything else is really easy.I wish I could give this negative stars. Install took me hours and then I finally get it perfect and plug it in and the remote turns on but the speaker does not. I tested the plug that goes into the speaker and there is power going to the plug but when plugged into the speaker it simply does nothing. My phone connects to it and plays music but there is no sound and no lights or anything. Contacted BOSS and they pretty much said sorry too bad take it up with Amazon. I’ve been reading different reviews and the speaker not working seems to be a common problem but I haven’t heard anyone say that the speaker never worked from the start. I am beyond frustrated right now. Don’t buy unless you like wasting your time and huge head aches.Came really fast! A little hard to install but very worth it. Sounds great!While it worked sound great . It is installed correctly. After about 3 or 4 hours of use it quit working. It shows to be connected to my phone but will no longer play. The connection that goes to the sound bar is very cheap plastic says hand tight and mine will not tighten and I didn’t over tighten it. System give no trouble shooting with papers . Will be calling them when there open to see what to do with these issues.My only words of wisdom for this thing is to know that it is HEAVY, so you will need two people if you are mounting it to a roll bar like I was. But overall I couldn't be more pleased it sounds great, is loud and has good sound. Be warned the remote control cable does not unplug from the control module, so if you cable things up ahead of time like I did, if you want to mount the module to the dash you will need to pull the cable back out and thread it through the new hole in the dash. This was my fault completely for not recognizing that, but it would be nice as a future mod for BossThis review is being posted BEFORE LISTENING.The installation of this thing is one of the worst I've come across. Where do I start? The instructions come on a large folded sheet of paper, 80% of which is taken up with safety warnings and BlueTooth pairing and operation. The portion devoted to installation is two squares of pictures. The way the brackets screw to the sound bar is ludicrous: the screws connect to nuts that are supposed to somehow tighten inside a channel that runs across the sound bar. They do but it is NOT intuitive as to HOW. They just spin around inside the channel. What they dont tell you is you're supposed to somehow pull UP on a screw you're supposed to be tightening. Good luck with that.Then, with the electrical portion, there is a diagram showing how to connect wiring. IT ASSUMES YOU HAVE AN ACCESSORY SWITCH. My 2017 RZR doesnt. But if it did, I am supposed to be able to somehow (I doesnt say HOW) connect the red wire to it. Really?Anyway, for something specifically designed for a RZR, this thing is woefully defficient.The dome light doesn’t work. Will call to send back.It's kind of a pain to put on a maverick x3 but o ce I got it on and it's amazing. I put it behind the seats on the roll bar facing down and it drowns out the very loud engine noise, but tdd he wind and other noises dont affect it. We can hear it perfectly at 80mph this sound bar is the way to go.I installed on the middle roll cage bar of a 4 seater. Installation is simple, the kit comes with adapters for a 1.5", 1.75" and 2" roll cage. The Teryx is actually a 1.7". The instructions suggested using grip tape to fix this smaller diamater, I did that and it worked great. I live remote so that was kind of a pain as I had to order the tape rather than run to a local store. Would have been nice if it came with the two short lengths of tape. The sound is real good. My buddies had gotten the Kawasaki Factory radios with the speakers in the dash holes. this blows them away in both volume and quality of sound. Note this doesn't have built in FM Radio like the factory installs, but you have the choice of aux in cord or bluetooth. Both work well.For the price you expect flawless performance. Within the first month the buttons in the remote stop working. Not long after that the volume turns up on its own till it's full blast.Awesome system everyone loves it. Easy to bluetooth to and love the lightsInstalled on can am defender max. Pretty simple install. Best value for money. Little tricky bolting onto roll bar but I managed to do it by my self and installed safety chain incase it would to ever fall down.Works great and sounds good would recommend And I was easy to install
