Pump works freak just need to use a lot of Teflon tape if you use the supplied fittings. Recommend getting your own fitting . Or it will leak . Other then that works great especially for the price.In the past, when my sprinkler system was on, the water pressure in the house was so low I couldn't take a shower. Now, the water pressure has improved so much that when we take showers and the sprinkler system is on you'd never know it. This was exactly what I was hoping for.I would definitely recommend this pump to anyone who is having similar issues as I had.The pump worked great for the first year. We installed it in our residential home to boost our water pressure. Unfortunately, a year later, the pump itself began to leak and is irreparable. Now we have to pay for a whole new pump and a plumber to install. Another $1000 down the drain. Not sure if we’ll install this pump again.Fue muy débilDoes its job. I was able to use the one it came with but I had to put putty and gas tape on and tighten it for all I was worth. I finally got it to stop leaking. Once that happened make sure you change all of your hoses LOL! My washing machine hose burst but it was 20 years old. At almost 300 feet away I have 80 pounds of pressure! I’ve thought about buying a second one just to keep it in storage just in case it breaks. I am on city water, I have no tank or anything. Straight from the road into this pump, into my house. And it is so quiet! I have mine under the house because I thought it might be loud, when I turned it on I thought it might just be warming up, but it’s that quiet. You can store it under a bathroom cabinet and I think it would be OK. This is a yes all the way! I’ve had it for about a year now and I have not had to mess with it. I did however, Close the water valve and release the pressure when I went on vacation.I’m using to boost pressure on a line. Works great, a little noisy but not terrible. Install is straight forward but have fought leaks consistently which is reason for lower install rating. Not sure the answer but glad mine is mounted outside as the leaks have been an issue. Reading other reviews seems to be a consistent issue.My first impression of the pump was that it was well-made. After installation, however, I was disappointed. At first, it did not work; the red light was always on. I pulled down the inlet pipe and added some water into the pump head, then it worked! I wondered if it really had suction,but actually the air in the pipeline affected that. It leaked like a sieve; almost every junction had a leak. I wondered if the pump was broken, so I messaged the seller. After seeing their support center link, I had to admit that it might have been my mistake. I had only just received the goods, so I didn't think it was the second leakage type. I did not call a plumber, as that is not a small expense. When I connected the pump to the PPR pipe, I thought the thread between the plastic and the metal was very tight so I did not wind the PTFE TAPE around it (very stupid mistake). I found the upper black switch was not tight, it could be rotated easily. But when the switch is screwed tight, the switch screen is turned towards the side of the pump.However, ugly is better than leaking. I wrapped the inlet and the outlet connections up thickly in PTEF TAPE. This proved to be very effective. Now the pump works very well, except for the noise. However, relative to the high water pressure of the household water, the noise doesn't matter.
