Overall I'm very satisfied however getting to the terminals is a pain because they're mounted underneath the unit so you would literally have to unbolt it from its location to do anyting to make changes that's really about the only thing I didn't like about it. The directions were pretty easy to read and understand the tech support was okay when I had a question. Overall very satisfiedwhat is most important to know is that it is very difficult to set up the blue tooth or cloud and i have yet to get it to work other than that it is a very nice controller and easy to read BUT you need the app in order to fine tune parameters but i cant set the app up very frustratingBeen working great keeping 24vdc battery system charged. Feeding with 350W poly panel with no issues. Drain batteries with a load for a while and it ramps up charging to recover them.The app for this is ok but could be better. Maybe a Chinese brand but it’s holding its own.I have the 60 amp also I’m gonna try out on my sail boat to see how it likes 700watts of solar and 300 AH AGM batteries.The terminal screws are on the back of the unit. So you have to connect all cables before you mount the unit. This part is a bad design.this one works great with my solar system. Easy to read so I know at a glance what's going on.It was advertised to work with lifepo4 batteries but you need up to hook to a computer to change the settings to make it work. Mine didnt come with a cable for some reason, so i ordered one, only to find out i need software which i cant find anywhere. Their website mentions software but doesnt actually have a link. The customer service people have answered my emails and so now i giess im out the prive of the charge controller and the price of the cable, and i still cant use my lifepo4 batteries (batteries it was advertised to work with).Worked great for 6 months , but now it only sends 10-20% of power to the batteries. It is constantly searching for the correct voltage of my array, but never finds it…. Like I said - it was perfect for 6 months, now it’s junk and seller is giving me the run around trying not to honor the warrantyThe remote monitoring options, including the one called AP which they list as "local" monitoring is not local. this cannot be used off of the internet. the Solarmate app requires full control of your phone and your "local" data is stored in China. thus why the "local" AP connection wont work without being connected to the internet and China.. same applies for bluetooth module.. the app will require a connection to china for no reason.. VERY DECEPTIVE, the app shouldnt be allowed in the google or apple app stores..Easy to connect. Concerned about over charging as I've found voltage to be as high as 14.6v at times, assuming this is bulk charge mode. I've got this set-up at my trailer and it makes enough power keep our batteries topped up to run everything for us. Less than two full weekends of us at the trailer and this unit has produced 4kwh so far. ( Only produces when it needs running two 37.5voc 240w pannles in series. It workes very efficiently at conveeting to 12v and bumping up the amperage. We will be adding several more panels and upgrading to 24v system to maximize our power producing capabilities.Unfortunately I am unable to access the unit via the software and Cable from i-panda. Hoping to find a solution to connect with ease.I’ve had this unit plugged into my solar bank for just over a week. I’m concerned with how hot this unit is running. Heat equals wasted energy, and this thing is so hot I can’t hold my hand on it. The power coming in is well within range as it’s only receiving 32 Amps (384 watts) at the best spot of the day there’s no reason for all this heat as the unit is not in direct sunlight ever. Other units I’ve had (cheaper ones) would load up my tie grid inverter because the batteries would be fully charged. This unit is drawing down my battery’s and I have 6 high capacity Gel batteries and never with full days of sun have I seen them as low as 11.8 volts. I don’t even have the tie grid inverter attached.Like I said I think the unit works well and has lots of info on the display which I really like but maybe mine is faulty? It would be good to get some feedback on this heat, until then the jury is out. I can’t imagine this thing will last long being so hot.It finds the maximum power point very quickly, usually in 3-5 seconds, that gets 5 stars. I do have to remove 1 star for seller communication. I inquired about a missing screw connector cover and ground screw, and got no response. Luckily I am using this indoors or it may have been more of an issue or even a return.I bought this controller hearing that they are one of the better ones the electrician could not even understand how the programming was been dealing with them for over a month now emailing back and forth almost daily asking me to do all kinds of reading and photos and videos me being disabled cannot do it myself they just keep on blaming everything on stuff we did would not recommend this whatsoever we're putting together an RV solar system would not use this company again they keep on saying once we can prove this and send them pictures that they would replace it once we send that they keep on asking for more and more and moreUpdate I finally got a replacement after jumping through hoops with this company for customer service I can say they finally came through and did a replacementSo far it is working to an extent, but not to its fullest capacity. Unfortunately it is not fully charging up my batteries to their full AH. My old controller I have will charge them over several days of no use, but upgraded my solar and wanted to upgraded to an mppt. As well, I cannot get the cloud box to work. It fails the wifi connection every time. Read over tons of reviews and watched several videos to figure it out, and I still cannot get it to work. I found the PC software, but yet again, it doesn’t recognize it. So that’s why the 2 stars.
